Yuri Brezden graduated from Pratt Institute (NYC) in 1971 with a BFA. He returned to Detroit in 1972 and began a career in advertising in 1975. He made art only now and then. In 2022, he resumed working at making art full time. Yuri dedicates his show to his late wife Zenia.
